1.	Register and Install Connected Backup on your PC or Mac wherever your data resides. Upon registration, you will receive an email from Autonomy which will contain the link to the backup software.
2.	Allow the software to detect your data, or select which files or folders you want to back up.
3.	Connected Backup does the rest. Your data will be available for easy retrieval, up to the last time you backed up.

On-demand retrieval

When the time comes, your data is easily accessed via your own computer. Or, if your computer is unavailable for any reason, you can retrieve your data on any computer with Windows, Internet Explorer and an Internet connection. All it takes is a few mouse clicks. Business critical files are instantly accessible.
